    Value of Money

This is the first nail gun I have experienced/owned and bought to help aging hands and arthritis issues with basic craft and hobby activities. Only used it a couple of times but it seems a well constructed unit easy to load and operate. Not as heavy as I expected but, as others have said, you need a lot of down force (preferably two handed) to ensure that the brads and staples are fully inserted so joints need supporting with clamps etc to get the best results. Otherwise, not a problem to tap in the odd half millimetre to finish off. This seems to be a common problem with electric units so no reason not to consider this as a purchase. If you want full insertion, go air gun but the compressor cost are prohibitive for a casual user like me. I find the cord length is ok. Before purchase I had researched many other makes both cheaper and more expensive and am happy with my purchase.

  • Most critical review

    Good starter nail/staple gun.

Compact and easy to use but even with the torque setting on the highest this nail gun does not drive brads fully home, there Is always a small length protruding, but It Is a very small amount. It does however drive staples all the way In. Great value for the money and I would recommend It for the starter or hobbyist.

  • Does what it should but it is rather heavy

Easy to set up and make ready it does what I need. Has an adjustment for power which is good. It is rather heavy though, particularly if you use the larger Parkside battery, and can get tiring on the arms on a big job. All other wise good though

  • Performs well for little cost

I was looking for a nail and staple gun without having to splash out as significant sum of money as it will only have the occasional use. I also need a nail gun that had some versatility in the size nails (and staples) it could accommodate. And it need to be electric. This one ticks all the boxes. There are cheaper ones out there and ones costing significantly more. This sits towards the less expensive but takes a good range of nail and staple sizes in the one gun. I have only tested it on some trial pieces of wood and it works perfectly well. It's main use will be to nail T&G to batons as well as to nail plywood to create a shed roof and I do not expect that I will have any problems. It feels very robust is very easy to operate and has sufficient safety features. Overall this is a decent piece of kit, is inexpensive and seems to do what is says on the tin. I have no hesitation in recommending this nail gun for the general DIY enthusiast.

  • Well made, easy to use and saves so much time....

Although the gauge of the nails/staples is quite small I have secured fence boards with 50mm brads and they are very firmly fixed. Gun makes such easy work of jobs that are normally really time consuming. Unit is very well made and worth it's weight in gold!....*****

  • GOOD PRODUCT FOR THE PRICE BUT....

This is a good quality well made product almost a direct copy of the Tackwise version. My only disappointment is it will not fire nails flush into soft wood without applying excessive pressure to the gun and often even then the nails are not flush. This is only a small issue however and easily resolved with a pin punch. Strangely enough, staples fire flush with no problem. For the price and quality it is a good buy.

  • Cheap but no way nasty

I have several Vonhaus Tools so was expecting this to be as good as them, I am very pleased with this little Nail / Staple Gun, it does take some practice to get precise target but as the old adage says Practice makes perfect. another great toll for the price. Would recommend to anyone who wants a small inexpensive nail gun.
