It is the 16mm king for a reason
I have been on the fence about this lens for a while. It has been presented as the industry standard wide angle lens for APSC cameras and now that I have it, I can see why. It works incredibly well with SONY cameras. The picture quality rivals the native SONY lenses that I have experienced. Exceptional product
This product is as advertised, it is SIGMA 16mm F 1.4 which is compatible with Sony camera. Currently the camera is attached to a Sony ZV: E-10 and it is good for close up shots in tight spaces presenting a whide field of view. It is ideal for blogging at arms length or to be used in a studio setting with with small space. The qaulity of the images are share and there is moderate background blur.

The best wide-angle lens available for a Sony APS-C camera
I watched several videos before buying this lens. I already own the excellent Sigma 30mm/f1.4, so I had no doubt this would be of equal or better quality, and I was right. I think Sigma makes the best lenses for the money on the Sony APS-C cameras such as my A6000. I wanted this lens for the wider view, which I find useful for snapping shots in crowds or tight situations. lowlight is amazing!
this lens give a whole new meaning to night photography and videography as well! the fact that it does not have stabilization hardly makes a difference! the shallow depth of field makes my shots look a lot more professional. autofocus is just as fast as the native lenses. i had upgraded from my kit lens and it makes a world of a difference. If i had to name a few cons about it, it would be the no stabilization, it’s a prime lens so it don’t zoom, and it’s an overall bigger lens which is kind of a good thing as well because it gives you a place where you can put your other hand, providing more stability. i love these lens. these sigma lenses are a must have, not necessarily the 16mm but at least one of these. it’s all preferential. Far exceeded my expectations

Amazing image quality and bokeh!
Amazing quality lens. Its hefty and doesn't feel cheap. The image quality recording 4k videos on a Sony A6400 is amazing!! The bokeh effect at f1.4 is really awesome.
