This dustbuster is tremendous. The suction is very, very good on bare floors. It is very, very good on area rugs. The high and low speed settings make the difference in picking up dust, dirt, and in my case, pet hair. It is extremely easy to use and the telescoping nozzle makes all the difference in reaching higher spots and in not having to bend over so far. The advertising on getting into tight areas is spot on. I've tried it in many corners, and even in that very tight spot on the side of my doors where the trim leaves only a quarter inch of space for nothing but dust. Sucked it right out, no problem. I highly recommend, it does everything it says. It is a bit loud (especially at the higher speed), but that may be more true for me because I have all hardwood floors and no carpeting. I have not tried it in my car yet, but I have no doubt based on what I've seen in my home, that it would handle the car without any issue, including the tight areas around the middle console and the seat.
I've also cleaned the filters. Easy in and out, very little mess, and they dry quickly. Do be sure that they are completely dry before you use your unit again. That is a must. One thing I did notice about the filters is that every time I've emptied the unit, the filters have come out in the trash also. This may be on me because I do shake to get the dust out, but I did want to mention it. No real problem, since they pop right back in, but you do end up having to touch them in all their dusty glory.
Lastly, it can be left on the charger/plugged up indefinitely (in the enclosed instructions). That's a plus in case you forget and leave it on - you won't harm the unit.
