Good value, reliable brand, looks good and works well
This Is an updated version of the shower I inherited with the house I bought but eventually it packed in. I decided to go for this , same model though obviously much more contemporary, as the fittings/pipes etc were already in place so it was sensible, according to my plumber, to buy this one though costlier than others. There was no need to damage tiles etc. It is simple in design and everything seems solid and is easy to use. The temperature dial, in particular, is well-designed: easy to turn , unlike the one in our other bathroom (different brand) which is stiff and very difficult to see. Mira has a good reputation. Hoping it lasts longer this time
I bought this as a like for like replacement which made installation very easy. My problem is that the original was only 3 years old. In the past I have always had a different make of electric shower and these have all been half the price of this Mira shower unit and all have lasted a minimum of 10 years.
