Really good and useful tool
This is a great product. I would probably never make chips for our family of six if I didn't have it. I think it best to avoid washing in a dish washer as I have owned a one before which eventually broke some plastic parts probably weakened by the dishwasher. It really is a good product. I also recommend making chips in beef dripping which I believe is healthier and copes with high temperatures better than oil so lasts a long time. Suitable for small potatoes
Only bought this one because of quick delivery (which was not done). Would have preferred full stainless steel. Plastic construction is very bulky, resulting in a disappointingly small space to accommodate a potato. Great little device
I purchased this product as it would cut the slightly thicker chips I wanted. Despite the good reviews on the site, I was a little concerned about its durability, as the body of the cutter is a plastic. However, I'm pleased to write that, in use, the chipper is very sturdy. Lastly, my only slight criticism would be that the uncut potato chamber could be just a tad longer. Best thing since sliced bread
This really is the best thing since sliced bread. I am a member of Slimming World and home baked chips/wedges are a brilliant part of the diet. A friend mentioned she had just bought a Kitchen Craft chipper and recommended it as I have psoriatic arthritis in my right hand and it was getting harder to cut veg/potatoes etc. This chipper has saved the day . So light, easy to use and very quick and easy to clean. I put the whole potato in, skin included and end up with brilliant home baked chips.
