Aguri DX1000 DASH CAM 2021
As advertised, works straight out of the box, just plug in and away to go, I'm using the factory settings at the moment, GPS tracking really good, time is auto set only a few button presses needed between GMT & BST, time settings before you set off for the 1st time, all the functions are easy to navigate, and I'm no expert, so far only negative points are whilst driving towards any white van, suv sized vehicle dash cam alerts you to a mobile speed trap,!! , in my local South Wales valleys area we have quite a few yellow winter grit bins on the sides of the more rural roads, dash cam also think these are fixed speed cameras, having said that it alerts me of every speed and variable speed camera in the area in plenty of time, so if the dash cam is over sensitive maybe it's not too much of a problem, it could save us a fine and points, if you want to reset so no beeps etc, you can customise the dash cam, especially if you are driving longer hours, as the dash cam is still new every time i start up or switch off the van engine a Red 'low battery' sign flashes up, whether this will stop the more i drive I'll have to see, (I've powered it up for over 2 hrs yet it still flashes low battery) has anyone else had this issue, it's my 1st dash camera, overall it does exactly what it says on the tin.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good buy but needs a few improvements especially voice.
The device is easy to set up but the voice is very hard to hear even on high. also the screen keeps going blank after 10 mins or so. Have to press menu to restart it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good dash-cam
Excellent dash cam; good for screenshots of scenery as well as 'events'. Don't rely on the speed camera warnings; they are a guide but nothing more. What I do like is the display of your actual speed which is very accurate and easy to see. I've 'modified' mine to attach to the dash board (so it really is a dash cam): create a flat base at the lower edge of the camera and attach a metal plate (a 2p coin does the job). Use quality double-sided tape, Attach a magnet on a suitable flat part of your dashboard (where the camera gets a clear view out), Attach camera and you can remove it when you leave your vehicle. Far better than having a camera stuck on the windscreen. I covered the 2p coin with black duct tape; it looks better and stopped the camera gripping too firmly!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good to have 2 devices in 1 small unit
Works perfectly superb video quality has shown all types of speed cameras and traffic light cameras etc. Can take up to 2 minutes to show speed of vehicle and speed camera locations after powering up after leaving my garage where GPS signal is weak so have to remember this. The best Dash Cam
This product has been in my car for a long time and without a problem until I left it in the freezing car. That was when I tried a Garmin 57 and it is miles away from my Aguri DX1000, so I purchased another Aguri DX1000 and now I have my old reliable system back again.
