Pure Brilliance, with Quality and Convenience at no extra cost
Saw this light being used on a car restoration programme and immediately identified that it provided pure and directed light onto a specific work area that demanded detailed application by the engineer. I noted that i have a number of DeWalt 18V items, more than 6, and this accessory seemed to be an obvious addition to my tools. It has been a brilliant addition and even in daylight provides the right amount of light when doing detailing jobs, be they DIY around the house, in the workshop or garage. Typically well made DeWalt item, quality tooling, lightweight, easy to use, two brightness settings accepts the full range of DeWalt 18V XR Lithium Ion batteries, head can be moved through 135 degrees from the horizontal. Light quality is pure consistent and clean. The price made this a no-brainer addition to my tool set and much more convenient that lugging round a halogen lamp that requires mains or a transformer. Top notch work light
Very good torch or work light, useful features such as pivoting head and retractable hanging hook and has 2 light intensity settings. Would be very expensive if you bought with lith battery and charger, but as a bare unit, good value and excellent build quality, I have spare batteries and chargers from other 18 volt XR Dewalt tools so all is good.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Let there be light!....A great addition to your DeWalt kit.
If you already own any DeWalt 18 volt tools this is a great addition to your kit. The beam has a wide spread, and is ideal for working in areas such as lofts where there isn't any power supply for conventional lighting. Also, useful in the event of a power cut, as it provides enough light for a whole room in an emergency. Best light I have ever seen.
I am very pleased with this product. The quality and feel of the light is outstanding. It has the same good grip as the other Dewalt powertools. The pivoting function works as it should, and I dont have any issues with it. Bouth light settings are bright. And it will light up my bedroom, as it lights up a big area (not a spotligth). I have looked on the marked for a good light, and this was what i bought. It was between this and Milwaukee. As I have bouth battery platforms. The Milwaukee wansnt as bright. Great work light.
I have the previous model ( same number but series 1 ) where that one is 500lm on max, this one is 1000lm so twice as bright. Abbey Power are selling it for less money this series 2 than most are selling the series 1 for. Excellent work light
I had one of these before and used almost it daily for over 5 years and lost it so bought another. Much more practical than the square type like the 060, 74 or 77, and cheaper and being directional it doesn't blind you. 2 days after i got it a woman whos house i had been working in 2 weeks previous, rung me and said her son had found it in the loft so ive now got 2. Ideal light for the Mechanic
So glad i purchased this light, this is the type 2 led light which is a updrade from the previous light and now as 1000 lumen output. a suitable, stable and useful battery LED lamp, not too expensive.
This is the table lamp with enough light, very stable on the table, but the LED ist just a little too cold, and because of that it is maybe difficult to recognize a real color (one star minus). It is imposible to focus the light, but I know, it is table light which lights enough without any focusing. The battery (4.0Ah) lasts for a long time, it is really ok. Good light output and tough light
