Great Product. Its like Magic !

Amazing stuff. Used a heat gun to speed up the process a bit, but I actually think I got a better finish with it . Good coverage from each tin too. My job was to spray the roof of a car instead of buying a vinyl top ( used 2 1/2 tins ). The results were superb .....and it covers small imperfections in the bodywork. Just build up the layers slowly , 3 to 4 coats should do it. Going to do the dashboard with it next !

    Not Durable At All!!

I could not wait putting this on my alloys after seeing many videos online and at first it looked great I. It had a even finish and looked amazing bearing in mind I have only put this product on two days ago it’s beginning to fall off! It’s had no bumps or scrapes and it’s somehow falling off I also added many layers of the plasti dip glossifier I understand it’s doesn’t last forever but I expected it to last more than two days! It says on the plasti dip website “It will not crack, chip or peel and will remain flexible” not happy at all.

  • Love It

OMG my 25 yr old car (future classic people!) black trims were looking alittle faded but no more, the car looks new since a took a can of plasti dip to it. Really easy to use & stress not if you get it somewhere you don't want it is really easy to remove. Took me a couple of hours (as you wait between coats!) & they my friends were not wasted hours.......I am super pleased that I ordered me some more & going to do my other car & van. If you buy it am sure you won't regret it.....get dipping people lol

  • Plastidip is useless and not efficient.

Not efficient. Three 400ml cans was to short to create proper thickness on few parts from motorcycle. Layer is to thin to resist lightest scratches. For me overrated....

  • doubtful

Not a big fan im afraid it covers well but isnt really suited to finishing vehicle parts .Im sure ill find a use for it somewhere

  • Does exactly what is says on the can

As the PlastiDip is rated to 200°F / 93°C, I use this product on all my cars brake calipers (Black) to protect the calipers mainly from salt exposure. As the paint is flexible I've had no issues with paint cracking when brake calipers compress and retract. Personally I would use the PlastiDip primer first (creates better adhesion for the PlastiDip paint to stick to), allow to dry, then I apply two coats of PlastiDip.

  • Great product

I used this product, in this instance, to provide surface protection for a very expensive Motorcycle Crash Helmet. It does not react with the painted and lacquered finish and prevents surface scratches from marring said finish. I have also used this product for the waterproofing and sealing of leather seats, by applying to the inner surface and for sealing the underlying foam. There are many other uses and when applied over another PlastiDip product, renders the finish permanent. There is in fact, a great range of products for multiple applications and the Technical Data from the Company ensures the User a sound grasp of these uses.

  • Looks like new

I used Plasti dip on my car window weather strip on top of the door as was very faded on a 16 yr car. Great coverage and easy to apply. Looks like new now.
