I am a professional photographer working exclusively in film. I generally use Fuji Provia which, presently, is hard to obtain. Therefore, I was obliged to try Fuji Velvia. Results are acceptable (just) but there is a tendency for colours to have a very slight magenta bias. This may be good in certain circumstances but not in others. I do not believe this to be due to any error at my lab. as I have used the same lab. for many years and totally trust them.
Excellent all-round film for serious slide photographers
An excellent film for those who have not made the leap to digital photography....
Good colour balance, and still performs well when light conditions make traditional photography difficult.
This has been my benchmark transparency film, for nearly 40 years. I have images taken back in the 80s, as good as when I took them.
Standard E-6 processing, means you can get films developed pretty much anywhere, around the world.
Unlike Kodachrome, which is almost impossible to get processed, these days. Sadly.
