    Very good kit

I've just started doing diy and woodworking and the ryobi tool range is brilliant for first timers like me. The 5ah battery is long lasting for what I do and also gives amazing power to the tools I use, even when it's down to 1 bar of juice left. I could have spent hundreds of pounds on better makes but I wanted to set up my shop on a tight budget and the ryobi range is brilliant for people on a budget especially if you buy second hand but good working order tools. I always buy the batteries new just in case because then you know you have a full life with it. Currently I have 2 5ah batteries to power my tools and the ease of changing from a drill to a circular saw, or from the sander to the little vacuum is easy and quick. I highly recommend this tool range for any beginner in diy or woodworking.

Doesn't work on all Ryobi one

I use Ryobi daily for work, bought this battery, worked great on all my Ryobi tools except the new 125mm brush less grinder, kept cutting out, didn't do it with all my other Ryobi and venon batteries, suspect would do the same on the chainsaw and chop saw as they use high power draw as well I assume ?, but on the plus side it fits in and out of my tools easily and seems too charge ok etc..

  • words for this one - says & tin

So far so good, the battery seems to be holding up well and has been used quite a lot in my workshop vacuum/blower. I like the quality the price and the delivery speed. I’d buy another anytime.

  • Vanon (Ryobi One+) 18v 6000mah Replacement Battery

Bought to use in a new circular saw. I was suprised at how good it was given the price! Last for ages. Thought I'd try it in the drill after that, now that was a real suprise! The extra 4000mah the battery has over the older 2000mah batteries give the drill some serious torque! I'd now vastly better than the DeWalt I have and is about on par our better than the new Makita drill my colleague has which is a monster drill! The drill I use is the older blue drill not the newer brushless drill. Before I buy another one I'm going to charge it a few more times. Anyway the battery arrived quicker than expected and so far I'm very pleased.

  • very good Value battery for Ryobi one

very good product . The only issue I have is disconnecting the battery from the tool . I cannot get sufficient pressure on the clips to release it . This may just be that May hand is not big enough. Works very well on my Ryobi saw.

  • Buying cheap doesn't pay

Used with Riobi chainsaw to make 3 cuts from a log as a trial. The next time I looked at the battery it's charge indicator showed half!! Not impressed but it explains why this new Riobi 5.0 Ah battery that sells for £20 is unlikely to match the quality and life of a genuine Riobi battery retailing around £90. Enough said, although I could add lots more about the quality of the cheap LI-on batteries (I believe made in China) being sold for use in our power tools.

  • 5.0Ah Ryobi replacement Li-Ion battery (RB18L50)

Great price for the size (capacity) of this battery. It soon charged and was in my drill. I don't yet know how long the charge will last compared to my original battery, but it seems good quality. Time will tell and as the build looks good, I hope it matches my hopes.

  • As good as original.

Lightweight and remarkably similar in appearance to an original with the charge state indicators. seems well constructed and a perfect fit. Used so far on a couple of heavy jobs with my SDS drill and performed very well. Time will tell regarding its continuing good performance and repeated charge / discharge cycles so a slight caveat with four stars. I would recommend on the basis of cost alone compared to the original.

  • Not 6Ah but still excellent value

Nice looking batteries. I've tested both the ones I bought, using a dedicated tester drawing a constant 500mA. The actual capacity was a little over 4Ah = about 70% of the stated 6Ah capacity. By comparion, genuine Ryobi 4Ah batteries come out at over 90% of their stated capacity. Something to be aware of but these batteries are still good value for money

  • Battery

This battery is ok and has a long time between charging The only problem is that the battery is very hard to remove from the tool you are using as the clips are not easy to use and don't release both at once Saying that I would purchase them again
