Does everything and more than I want in a phone. I just wanted a phone to make calls and text. Has a camera-but not great-but I have a camera so wasn't a feature I was worried about. It's solid and compact. easy to read. Nice big buttons, great volume and easy to use. Clamshells have one problem-can't see who is ringing-before you answer-but for me better that than dialing by mistake. Easy to use with arthritic hands.
I was pleased to source an exact replacement for. the one I accidently destroyed. So easy to use but a pity the battery has such a short life. I sometimes leave it on charge all night, but after only a few texts sent on the following day, the battery starts to run down. I hoped that this new replacement would hold a charge for a longer period, but alas not! I'm still glad I was able to get another,so nothing new to learn! Bought this for my elderly Mother-in-law and she loves it. The three 'memory' buttons are very useful for direct dialling of pre-set numbers. Nice big buttons and is generally very easy to use. Lovely little phone
I emphasise that this is not, and does not pretend to be, a smart phone. However it suits my purpose exactly. No wandering off into the internet gathering tons of useless advertising data. No waking up each morning to find your newly charged battery has dissipated overnight. Instead, a phone which responds when I flick it open, with easy keys to write text. Good Address Book with alphanumeric access, and lots of extras, photos, music, radio, etc. which only operate when you want them to. Simple to use, loud and clear, (a lot clearer than my last phone) Screen easy to use, camera crap, but I wanted a phone not an all singing and dancing mobile computer. An excellent product in all ways.
This phone is ideal for someone who has certain sight & hearing problems and is not good with modern technology. My husband has dementia which makes it very difficult for him to learn anything new. He could not manage his smartphone, but now manages to use this Binatone. Apart from being simple, the thing that I really liked was that shutting the flip-phone ended a call. I had found it frustrating that my husband usually forgot to end a call and therefore I could not phone back to him. With his previous phone, another problem was that if he phoned me then I could hear his voice, but for whatever reason he could not hear me.
