Great little espresso machine
The trick is the coffee. Italians drink less bitter coffee than typical Americans so their espresso is sweeter and chocolatey not bitter and burnt tasting. I went through Cafe Bustelo, Pilon...they tasted burnt like the big coffee house with the Star in the name. I finally ran across an article recommending Danesi and I finally hit gold. This machine, Danesi pre-ground coffee and some times a spoon full of sweetened condensed milk (cafe bombon) and I am in heaven. Tap or scrape the grounds out, scrub the prefilter each time, wipe the machine off, use distilled water so you don't worry about calcium buildup and you are good to go!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fine machine, came as pictured, slightly misleading description
Came as described/pictured "Only includes the coffee maker, not glass carafe or any other accessories, see images." Great little espresso machine!
At first, I was concerned that it seemed so loud when tamping and dispensing the espresso. However, I watched a YouTube video review, and it was just as loud, so I assume that is normal. It heats up very quickly (within a minute or so), and I love that you can calibrate the machine for the volume you want. It dispenses quickly, and has a beautiful layer of crema on top. It does vibrate some when tamping, so it's important to make sure the demitasse or cup is still lined up underneath. I purchased an open floor model, so it was missing pieces, but I was able to call the customer service number on the Capresso-Jura website, and it was a very simple process to order what I needed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Very ackwrd , poorly designed espresso maker.
The basket that is used to brew the shots is extremely difficult to put in place. The milk frother is too pressurized that makes it hard to creat a good foam. Over all not a very well made machine at all and I have used hundreds of cappuccino maker over the yrs. and therefore I don’t recommend it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
