Good for lubricating locks
Bought after seeing recommendation from a locksmith online. After about one year the upside-down Yale type lock in my new front door was giving trouble - difficult to get the key in, and more worryingly, even more difficult trying to get it back out again(suspect the last few months of driving rain had got at it). GT85 Brilliant Lubrication with PTFE
This product is brilliant to use in conjunction with WD40. WD40 will clean out light surface rust but does not really lubricate moving parts more of a rust inhibitor. Using GT85 after the WD40 penetrates and lubricates the moving parts. You can actually use GT85 on its own as a cleaner and lubricator and not bother with the WD40. I have found WD40 cleans up parts slightly quicker than the GT85. Then a quick squirt of GT85 finishes the job offVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
