Hot, Super Sexy 12 Inches (of action figure, that is!)
To answer "Would I recommend it, " yes I would recommend it because the doll is HOT. As in, sexy. Yes, a 12 inch plastic likeness that is very, very sexually appealing in the way he was sculpted and presented. Of course not all will share my view, so it is entirely subjective. However, that is my favorite aspect of it, is how cute he is. I have never seen the motion picture the doll is associated with, and the actor the doll is based on does nothing whatever for me. But the DOLL - is gorgeous. I want to give him my number and ask him for a date.
To answer, "Is it a good value," well, again, subjective. I think I paid way too much for it, however, if it is a discontinued item, perhaps even desirable or rare, than this could make a difference. I have just wanted one for so very long, and I figured well, they aren't going to get any less expensive. So I went for it.
To answer: "Is it of good quality?" Well, I can't say entirely, as I have yet to wrench him out of the packaging, set him free of his clothing, then, with acetone, erase the terrible, terrible tattoo that has been painted on his back (again, something to do with the movie), and adorn him with male features, as I often do my dolls, those being chest, armpit, and modest stomach hair, as well as forearms and legs. So I can't really say, as he is still in the box, right here next to my monitor looking at me. Other Mattel dolls of this caliber (the X Files Agent Fox Mulder/David Duchovny figure) is excellent. Same body mold as far as I can tell. Articulated at the wrists, knees, elbows, etcetera, and very flexible (very few Mattel males, as in Ken and others, are). Both have actual rooted hair. And David HAS been taken out of his box and given man-bits, and sports a VERY hairy chest and even stuff "Down There" that I will not detail in this forum, as that would be vaguely inappropriate. :)
