Levoit home air purifier
I purchased mine second hand, admittedly, for a fraction of the price as new. I'm delighted with it. It's robust, quite large (bathroom swing bin size) and is reasonably quiet. Easy access to the filter. Lovely neon blue light on the top if you want to use that facility. As with all air purifiers, they date quickly and the replacement filters become hard to find. I've managed to find a source in China (yes, I know...) but to be honest it's easy to make your own replacement filter from the original plastic cartridge (never throw those away!) and cut out your own filter from quality vacuum cleaner bags topped with a layer of cooker hood extractor filter (black foam); insert carefully into the old emptied hepa plastic filter body, and job done.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Hi dont normally review but I think there are a few serious design flaws The light at the top make it impossible to have it on overnight if you dont like a residual light it's pretty annoying Also its LOUD That's it would be subtle and nearly noticable. Fresh air breath
It is a little noisier than I would have thought, though it has four settings, which is more than I had expected. The air seems cleaner and smells better in the room. Repair man
Very good design, stright forwards schimatics.. easy to fix pcbs, loving the activated carbon filtration.. there's alot of crappy after market filters around with about 75% less activated carbon in them, just right for a bed room or living room, i've have had the pleasure of fixing three of them all with the same fualt, ac shaded pole motor failure.. coil winding gets very very hot at high speeds. Which will cause problems in a hot environment.. if the motor goes poof it will take out a transistor and resistor with it.. and maybe the fuse and jumper in some cases(pcb)Verified purchase: Yes

Praise for the Levoit air puifier
I was pleasantly surprised at how well it is made (this model anyway) and the visual apearance is very good - for my taste so I hope they will continue to work well for some years. I now have two and they have helped my breathing improve and reduce the polution from my (beloved) cats. I don't actually have any proof of this but the air does seem cleaner. Excellent! Does what it's supposed to.
I have had the levoit air purifier for a month now... it's efficent. It clears the air through a 3 stage filter. No dust, allergens, mold spores or bad toxic fumes can fill the air. It's 100% reliable and you can leave it on all day without worrying it's gonna over heat. 12hours is the best cycle for me but you can leave it on permiantly. There's 3 stages of noise. 1 is sleep mode 2 makes alittle noise 3 is the noisest but its got a gentle hum to it. Very therapeutic. I can sleep with the purifer on all night and not be disturbed. It's a very soft calming hum and it send me to sleep. There is a nightlight on top of the purifer. It has a magnificent lilac glow!
