    Holds its own as a brilliant Sci-Fi movie!

    This film holds well against more recent sci-fi blockbusters, which is due mainly to the combined imagings and creative talents of Director Luc Besson and clothes designer Jean Paul Gauitier, who collabotated with Bessan on design. Bruce Wills was a good choice of lead unplanned hero, who dons a suedo Die Hard manner with Milo Jovovich star in the making ahead of Resident Evil and other Kick Ass movies that have defined her. I have tried several times before to watch and absorb this film and failed - this was the first time I suceeded. I loved the 'Making of' featurettes too! My only downer of the film and has been every time I have gone to watch it is the Chris Rock intergallactic DJ character - too OTT, in your face and camp for my liking. I feel sure Rock had the talent to do much better.

    One of my favourite films. Great original story, ridiculous characters, pumping soundtrack, stellar cast who all play to their strengths. This is my second copy. If you haven't seen it, grab a copy now :)
