Mechanical, Cheap, Macros, Backlit, Braided Cable at £45?
Well, what can I say? When I started my job in an office, I *had* to use my mechanical keyboard, like, literally had to. But Cherry MX Blues are really not suited for a business environment. I set out on looking for a non-gamer styled Cherry MX Brown board with macro functionality, and boy did I find one! I was a bit skeptical about getting a board from a company known for their console gaming peripherals - but the build quality is just immense for the price. The font on the keycaps is a little too much for the office too, and since this keyboard has a standard bottom row, I can use any keycap set I like! It cost me £5 for a standard ABS keycap set, and another £5 for some O-Rings to keep it nice and quiet. Damn, what a good combination, right? The braided cable has routing holes to come out of the left, right or back of the board for good cable management too. The typing experience is quite good, however not as good as my MasterKeys Pro S MX Blue edition, but hey, it's really freaking quiet. All in all, I would give this board a 8/10. The 2 points went due to the god awful logo inbetween the alphas and the tenkey, but some rubbing alcohol will do the trick I assume. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a nice and cheap mechanical board!
