I dig it.
I dig this auger, very grounded and a solid tool. When this was invented it was clearly ground breaking! I wanted it to plant some trees so I used this wonderful easy to use tool an then I had to water them in first but filling up the hole with water but luckily as they say mud is thicker than water. I the hit a rock though an I was gonna break it in two like I did in my youth but I was a lot boulder then. But then I am planting these trees on the side of a cliff so I am still quite edgy. This tool was solid as a rock, a real life saver, just ate through the ground an created a nice hole ready to plant in. Ground too hard

An excellent piece of kit!
I had a lot pf fencing to do and was looking for an easy way to dig the post holes. An enquiry with my local tool hire revealed that they hired something similar to this at a rate of £24 for two days- I was likely to need it for at least four (days). I thought I'd take a chance and bought one of these for £17.99 delivered. It arrived quickly and was clearly of sturdy construction and practical. I opted for one with a wooden slide through handle as I knew I would be working against existing fencing and obstacles. The thing worked like a dream, it was easy to use and I was able to 'dig' the holes very quickly and cleanly. It also meant that the posts fitted fairly tightly in the holes reducing the amount of concrete required. Overall, this was an excellent buy at an excellent price.
