A Whale of a time
This is a re issue of the kit first released in 1997 and with updated livery in 2010. All the parts and transfers remain the same and the transfers allow for any one of the first 3 aircraft to be built. The kit is for the beluga based on the A300 airframe and is moulded in white plastic and the transfer sheet has the main rear fuselage colours on it to aid painting. With extra effort the model can be built with the cargo door in the open position though to make the cargo bay floor requires card or plastic sheet to be obtained. There is a helpful template on the instructions to assist should you wish. I have already built 2 of the kits and there is another as well as this one in the pipeline so that the 4 star rating is a tad misleading as I knew what to expect !! A 3 star rating would not do it justice as it is more than OK . On a kit scale it would rate 4.5 as there are some minor details that could be improved but for most people it is fine as it is.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
