In THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE director Andrew Adamson gives a new dimension to C.S. Lewis's enchanting story with this long-awaited Disney adaptation. As the story begins, Mrs. Pevensie in order to keep her children safe during World War II sends Lucy (Georgie Henley), Edmond (Skandar Keynes), Susan (Anna Popplewell), and Peter (William Moseley) off to stay at a professor's country estate. Once there, an innocent game of hide-and-seek leads young Lucy to a spare room containing a large wardrobe, she discovers something that will change their lives forever. Inside the wardrobe there is a world frosted with ice and filled with magical beings. Known as Narnia, the land is stuck in eternal winter at the hands of the cruel White Witch, played with great force by Tilda Swinton. After much disbelief, the others finally enter the world as well, learning that the creatures of Narnia have long been waiting for humans like themselves to appear and break the witch's spell. Under the leadership of the great lion Aslan (voice of Liam Neeson), can Lucy, Edmond, Susan, and the oldest, Peter, prove themselves heroes in the ultimate battle of good vs. evil? <br>In the second chapter; PRINCE CASPIAN, the Pevensie children return to the fantastic land. But though only a year has passed on Earth, more than a millennium has gone by in Narnia. A wicked king now rules the country, but Prince Caspian--the young man who should be on the throne--and the Pevensies join forces to once again return Narnia to its former state.<br>The third installment THE VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER Lucy and Edmund are visit their odious cousin Eustace and are drawn into the NARNIA world through a picture of a ship at sea, the three children materialise in the ocean close to the pictured vessel and are taken aboard THE DAWN TREADER. Since peace was established in NARNIA, Prince Caspian had undertaken his oath to find the seven lost lords of NARNIA. They find themselves travelling to Lone Islands and Deathwater Island where they discover a pool of water which turns everything immersed in it into gold, including a missing lord. As the DAWN TREADER becomes seaworthy they travel to Dark Island since it is permanently hidden in darkness. During their voyage on the majestic royal vessel they encounter marfolk, dragons, dwarves, sea monsters and a wandering band of lost warriors. Really entertaining
I have always loved these Movies and now I finally have them. Narnia for me is a place I would love to live. These movies are entertaining fun for all the Family and with James McAvoy starring in The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe as Mr Tumnuss and Ben Barnes as the Titular Character in the second Movie, these Two amazing Actors backing up the main cast make these movies all the more fun.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
