Great product ,does more than I imagined
This is a great product and does more than i ever thought ,it is easy to set up ,I can ask it to call any contact from my phone and speak to them without having the phone by my ear ,although unfortunately it doesn't answer it ,I can control my lights and sockets by voice control through it by having smart plugs and smart bulbs which are not expensive to buy and again are easy to set up ,now i'm thinking of other smart products to add to make my life easierVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works well but it's a pity the instructions are not more comprehensive .
I have difficulty receiving a radio signal on ordinary radios and can only really get them if I use my PC ..However the signal via my broadband on the Echo is very good and I can listen to my chosen lists while doing any work ..My one criticism is that the instructions are not very comprehensive . It took a while to get connected via the Alexa app and in the end had to google Alexa setup to do it .. Also there are times when the lights flash and there is no means of knowing what they mean , so again I had to google the information.. There are 7 light sequences in all and nothing on the instruction booklet to say what they mean . At one point I thought my Echo was not working properly as it was flashing yellow. I had to google it to find out that meant Amazon was sending me a message re a delivery and then I had to try all sorts of words to activate the information .. Amazon could have just listed them in the little booklet included ..it would have made life so much simpler than browsing the internet to find the information ..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great shape, size and colour
This added to my growing number of Echo Dots around the house and the new shape, with lighting during use fits really well into a bedroom tranquility. A bit of Fun!
I bought this as it's a bit of fun really. Good sound quality but you have to have Amazon Prime or pay for most music tracks. You need an up to date Android op system on your phone for the app to work but I used a laptop and it worked - a bit of a faff!
