It's good value for the price. and with the option of holding two mics, it's versatile. It's fine for my purpose which is mainly for recording. Nice mic stand! I bought it to hold things like crystal pyramid and chimes for 'crystal sound bath', not microphones. It arrived two days after purchase and was well packaged. Its now stood in my sound room waiting for said instruments. I have experience working as a roadie on a PA system (back in the early eighties) and I know it's not the highest quality, yet it is still a decent quality. The stand is very light so using heavy condener mics is not an option, OK with a dynamic though and you can just about get away with another mic on the boom as long as you don't extend the arm too far.
