Absolutely love these kayaks (I bought 2)
I bought 2 of these kayaks for a last minute booking on the South Coast. They were absolutely everything we had hoped for. As a family we have owned and rented many hard shell kayaks previously but found them difficult to store when not staying near the water. We decided to try these inflatables on the waters at Langstone and they have been amazing, we have not missed the hard shell ones at all. Also, the delivery came ahead of promised date. Hmmm - it’s been fun, I’ve found it easy to set up
Only issue, the base section has formed a split at the front end where two tubes join. I have tried numerous ways to repair, without success. Therefore I have a leak kayak!! However, it still floats and is usable, it’s just a bit saggy now!! The repair patches are like post-it notes. Low tackiness, pretty useless!!!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Brilliant kayak. Easy to pack and inflate. Puts away in the bag provided. Paddles easy to put together and disassemble too. Great for kids. Good construction for gentle conditions only. Small keel is good. Loved a paddle with the kids.

Lightweight and easy to inflate. Very stable in the water and surprisingly tough.
I already own hardbody and inflatable kayaks. We like introducing friends to the sport, so I bought this kayak for that purpose. It's lightweight and easy to inflate and very capable on calm water. Perfect for beginners and intermediate canoeists. We bought a heavier duty pump as the one provided is a bit slow to operate and very flimsy.

This Kayak is fantastic in the eyes if a beginning, leisurely kayaker. Easy to assemble, heavy duty materials, takes alot of weight (it took both my husband and I, who exceed the 180kg weight limit, without issue). Excellent kayak, very happy with this item, despite one manufacturing problem that was easy to fix.
The Index Explorer 2-person kayak I found easy to inflate - note their instructions that its important to inflate the 3 main sections in the numerical order they advise. I found deflation is also reasonably easy. I found subsequently folding it up required some practice to achieve a good size for the bag which came with the kayak. I found performance on the water (a river) was pleasingly good. Enjoyable and fun to paddle. The price I feel is reasonable. The only negative to the purchase was an initial problem fitting the skeg (i.e. fin) into its slot on the underside of the kayak. There was a bleb of hard plastic causing an obstruction making it impossible to fit, until I chiselled the protrusion off and filed down (slightly) the immediate area. Other than that I am delighted so far (2 river trips to date) with this kayak.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Kayak!
This is a great Kayak! My husband loves it and the kids too. It’s really sturdy and we’ve had great fun in the sea and the river.
