Excellent heater but with 30 minute timer cut out.
I've used these Dimplex heaters for years when one finally fails it's a simply job to buy a new one and install it in minutes everything all set up. The previous heaters have had a thermal fuse for safety but this new model really caught me out; I hadn't realized it's fitted with a 30 minute timer but found out whilst taking a bath and the heater died hence the bath room temperature dropped like a brick and no way could I reach the pull cord to restart it until I got out of the bath; no doubt this is a new safety feature, Now I switch it off wait a short while then switch back on giving a 30 minute bath time. Good heaters though hence the high score it just took a bit of getting used to..

Easy to install. Heats the shower room well.

Fitted in small en-suite by professional electrician, Left it on factory settings i.e. 2kW and 30 minute run-down timer. However, it is currently cutting out after about 15 minutes (presumably on thermal cut-out) but can be restarted 10 minutes later. It is warming the small room quickly and cut-out not a problem. Only weakness is that heat rises and cold air gets drawn in at floor level with ventilation fan also running. Massive improvement but cold at floor.

I bought this as a direct replacement for the one that's been on my bathroom wall for 16 years and only just given up the ghost. If this one lasts half as long I'll be more than happy. These units are amazing quality for the money and push out plenty of heat. Easy to fit for a competent DIYer (just get a Spark to check if you're not qualified)

Fantastic heater,dont look any further
fantastic little heater, we are using it as a extra kick in our bathroom, it heats up the bathroom in 2 minutes,had one like this in my other apartment and it lastet about 8 years and it only broke because fe forgot to open it up and clean up the dust ,otherwise it would probably still be good,anyway,i just replaced that one with a new (the same) one.
