Full network speed in a little box !! Plug and play baby!!
Fed up of loosing network speed on my 50m network cable run to my caravan, using a mis-mash of old ADSL routers as managed switches, I decided to revise my network with these unmanaged gigabit switches. Result !. I managed to pick up 0.2 of a MB/s over this long run and it now is clocking the same speeds on broadband speed tests as being plugged directly in the back of the ADSL router. 0.2 MB may not sound much but on a 2.2MB ADSL connection every little helps and 10% improvement for £30 isn't a bad return. Ping speed to the router has improved as well with 30ms being recorded before and just 1ms now present. My network is now running far more stably than before with a lot less buffering going on when streaming TV. So I recommend these for any basic network that you may be building to keep things simple and fast.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
