Works perfectly if you are on Vodaphone and have a poor signal at home
A great product if you are on Vodaphone mobile (or Voxi). We moved to an area with poor mobile signal and looked up on OfCom the best mobile signal provider in the area. Vodaphone was the best (just) but the signal turned out to be too intermittent to be any use. 3 months later I read about Sure Signal and bought one on eBay. It worked out of the box as soon as I had registered both of our phones. Since then we have had absolutely perfect mobile use. Just plug into a power socket and connect your internet by wire. Works all over the house and outside.

Great... when it is working
This is a weird device. I've had mine for about 2 weeks, and have been on to Vodafone support about 6 times. Unlike any other household internet-enabled device when you plug it in, you have to wait up to 6 hours for it to become operational. Also, it doesnt show up as a "connected device" on my router, which led me to call them the first time. However, when it eventually came online, it is/was wonderful, I get a 5 bar signal almost anywhere in our large layout thick brick house. That worked perfectly until the router got a new IP address, it seems this device doesnt like its public IP address to change - cue more calls to support, and another 6 hour wait. Then we had a power cut. Cue another set of calls to support, and another 6 hour wait. Maybe I'm not patient enough, but it seems weird to me in this day and age to have to wait 6 hours for a device to connect properly to the internet. In my opinion this device is on some days not fit for purpose, and on other days wonderful

Sure signal is great, Vodafone's setup process is not
The actual product is brilliant and does exactly what you need - its gives a full strength signal in areas where you don't have one normally. Also with Vodafone if you use wifi calling you don't get text messages but with the sure signal you do. It is overpriced for what it is but it does do the job perfectly. However setting it up with Vodafone was ridiculous. Vodafone's website no longer registers it automatically so you have to go through customer services to set it up. From what I researched the fault on their site has been there for months if not years and is still not fixed. The people you deal with are brilliant but the system is awful. If you could set it up online simply like you are supposed to I would give it 5 stars

As easy as ABC
Received SSv3 earlier today. Login into my Vodafone account, click on Sure Signal icon and registered the device. 30 mins later, I am up and running. I have a 4G phone and now switched to 3G/2G Auto mode at home so that it will automatically pick up the Sure Signal (should be the strongest). I have also made a number of phone calls via Sure Signal and it works really well!! Lovely little box!!!

What's good: it gives me a good Vodafone signal in an area which otherwise has a poor one. What's bad: it's pricey but otherwise nothing. Easy to set up. The previous sure signal provided by Vodafone died but maybe that's to be expected after having functioned for several years.

Works well but vodafone system may not connect to it immediately
Once you have jumped through all the hurdles Vodafone require you to complete while registering it a simple matter of plugging in the unit . In my case the unit told me i had not registered properly but text from Vodafone said i had. Unplugged waited 24 hours and all was well it locked on to the system so don't be surprised if takes time to log on.

Mixed Feelings
This item works well, where I had no mobile phone signal from any network due to my remote location. Sure Signal now gives me a fully functioning mobile phone within the confines of my house. I works via my very slow broadband connection so things like updates for apps are painfully slow. Still for someone used to using my smartphone for everything and then moving home and having no text or phone services, this is much better than nothing. That said, should there be anywhere on mainland UK that doesn't have even a basic 2G phone connection?

Range is limited.
Easy to pair but overpriced for what it is, especially as in my opinion Vodafone should at least be subsidising it due to their poor coverage. It has to be situated in a position where there is no electrical equipment, metal or too many walls otherwise its range is severely limited.
