Sony are taking over photography
Once, it was Nikon or Canon headed the top spot, lately Fuji and Panasonic have fought for first place, and I have found myself lurching madly from one to the other, but lately accolades and glowing reports are pushing Sony cameras into the top window. Why? Well just give them a list of everything you want your camera to do, and Sony not only seem capable of doing it, but also set their bar high. I started with an HX80 - it’s results and capabilities just blew me away. I tried the RX100 and that was great, but I’m greedy for the long shot and that didn’t have a long enough zoom, so I’m now heavily addicted to this HX90. A unique camera in its class with good performance
A superseded model (but arguably better than the current model) so nearly half the price had it been the new model. Bought because of its zoom lens coupled with viewfinder - unique in this class of camera. Great purchase, Great value for money
I was a bit skeptical about buying this product, especially after seeing reviews on YouTube. I think if you just want this camera for daily stuff, point and shoot, it's perfect. love the zoom. haven't really tried it at night time, but day pictures are amazing. also it has many predetermined modes so it's easier to use those if you have much experience with manual settings. Wonderful compact camera, with very useful view finder and tilting screen, which I use a lot.

Great little Camera
Small fits in a pocket, can be used as simple point and shoot compact, but it can also be used in various manual modes. Long range optical zoom, really good screen and EVF. Camera is very solidly constructed although the mechanically the EVF is perhaps the only possible weak spot otherwise the build is very solid. The picture quality is really good and in normal light compares well with the results from my 3 APS-C cameras. In very poor light noise is more evident but this is only to be expected from any camera with a small sensor. All in all it is a really good travel zoom in a very small package.
