Easy to install, works well, mITX form factor has constraints due to size
Config:
Case: NZXT H1 w/built in AIO & Power Supply
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2x16GB) 3200MHz C16 DDR4 DRAM Memory Kit – Black
SSD1: Sabrent 500GB Rocket Nvme PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 Internal SSD
SSD2: Samsung 860 EVO m.2 ssd
SATA: Samsung 840
TPM: Gigabyte Motherboard Accessory GC-TPM2.0_S
PROs
- It is easy to install
- M.2 PCIe 4.0 has it's own heat sink built in
- Power and SATA connections line up well with H1 case
- Easy to install software
CONs
- WD Black PCIe card with attached heat sink doesn't fit on MB
- BIOS isn't well documented (same with any board nowadays)
- Has one USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A header on MB, would like a USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C also
- I would like an additional PWM fan header
- Chipset software has a bunch of bloatware that doesn't need to be installed
All in all, this was a fun board to install, no problems other than the M.2 slots not being able to handle the WD Black drive because of the WD's built in Heatsink.
Not sure about speed, as I have not run benchmarks yet. Seems faster than my Ryzen 1700x but I reserve judgement until I get hard numbers.
