just the job for a small garden

As we only have a small garden the size is perfect. Although we had,nt realised it was up to us to put it together it was easy to follow instructions and took no time at all. The birds love it big and small!!! If it lasts only a few years still excellent for the money.

Ok but not that easy to put together

The bird table itself is ok, just not very easy to put together! Fine if you have a full workshop of tools with a vice to hold bits but not very easy to do and get everything straight otherwise! Would be a lot better if the holes were predrilled as the wood is very hard (as needed for outside life!), makes if hard to put together square and level. Instructions aren’t that clear in parts wither

  • Falls over in smallest gust of wind or if a cat looks at it!

The bird-table was far from expensive, so you get what you pay for I guess. My husband has made another heavy base for it as the legs are not far enough apart for it to stay standing outdoors (and can't see a lot of use for it indoors). It was easy to assemble but does need a few coats of protective stain. It looks pretty good now it's in situ and the birds like it, but you will need to find a way to weight it down.

  • Very slow delivery.. product ok.

This is an ok product but need a much longer centre pole. I knew this when I bought it as I had seen one before. and I already had a support in my garden. The top of the table is fine and is easy to assemble, so it is worth buying for this alone.. buy a piece of wood to extend the support and it is ok. Otherwise it is tiny in the garden. Delivery was very slow, (almost 3 weeks) even though it was to collect from Argos.

  • Reasonable quality for the money

I bought this bird table because the other similar tables I had seen were about £40.00. The wood quality is good for the price. One of the holes is drilled on the wrong piece of the stand so the screw does not actually hold it together but it should stay together without that. It's a little unstable so I will need to get some bird table stabiliser 'things' to pin the legs to the ground. Overall though, it's not bad for the price!

  • Lightweight Bird House with no redeeming features.

It is not very high and is in the reach of local cats. It is too light and blew over in the first breeze. I had to make a bracket to secure it to the wall. Also the wood is not pre-treated and I had more expense in having to buy special paint.

  • VERY lightweight but does the job

A nice looking table but made from very lightweight materials. Comes "flatpacked" reasonably easy for the average "DIY'er" to assemble. Apart from the roof, the timber is "untreated" so make sure you give it a good coat of varnish/paint or don't expect it to last long. All in all a reasonable product for the price but I don't expect to have it for years to come, in hindsight I would have gone for a more substantial, sturdier item.

  • Nice but too flimsy

The table was easy to assemble, and a good height. The downside is that the latts on one side of the roof were broken and spoilt the appearance. I have added a photo, this only shows part of the damage, sorry to have to report this to you.

  • Don't waste your money

Looks good from a distance, but it's very flimsy. Very thin wood. Not sure how the main post will stand up to anything heavier than a sparrow. It's a butterfly joint. Had to put a brick against each leg to try and stop it toppling over. Got no chance if the squirrel tries to climb it. Had to leave other one up for him!!! Top broke on that one. Perhaps I would of been better making a new top!! I'd say get what you pay for, but old one is sturdier and cheaper!!!

  • Great but faulty

So brilliant, easy to build with quick assemble but roof slats had a gap between making mine not waterproof and due to glue and pins being used I am in able to adjust so had to use clear silicone. But other than that it’s great to introduce more wildlife to the garden for the little ones.
