The radio is, as far as I can ascertain, a rebranding of the above. Not that that makes any difference. It is programmable with CHIRP, but I was not able to get the dedicated software to work. If all else fails it can be programmed manually. I run it using a home base antenna about 10 meters above ground level, which gives good results for what it is. The product could do with a fan as the heat builds up considerably even on low power. I would advise any would be purchaser to fully read up on its tech spec before buying. The manual of instructions which accompanies the rig is not very good. However, there are numerous videos on YouTube available, which should be viewed before purchase.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
