Great set of rudders
What a great set of rudders! I am new to the flight sim paternity and did some online research to source the best type of joystick, throttle and rudder combination. I settled on the Thrustmaster joystick and throttle combo and after using them and being very satisfied with their performance I found that Thrustmaster did a set of rudders in the same range. I jumped straight on them when they arrived and was totally impressed with them. They were difficult to use initially and even performed in an unusual way i.e. when you moved the rudders, it altered the throttle and not the rudder. I since found that you have to alter the way the rudders operate by calibration and going into settings on your sim game. Now I have set the rudders to operate correctly the games work much better and would thoroughly recommend this set of rudders to anyone who is after a set. Great budget option
Really like these pedals. Yes they're cheapish and plastic, but they're honestly great to use. I didn't have hundreds of pounds for metal pendular rudders, so these will do just fine. Good Quality, comparable to products twice the price
These pedals are very good quality and half the price of comparable pedals. They are a nice weight and, although a little close together, are fine for my size 10 feet and would be ok a few sizes up. They slide smoothly with just a hint of resistance where the neutral point is. Toe brakes work very well I use them for the "FlightGear" flight sim - they didn't work straight out of the box, I had to find an XML config file someone had created but that was easy enough via the FlightGear forumsVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good Smooth Pedals
Yes they’re made of plastic but this seems to be good quality regardless and strong too! The rails that they slide on are great and the action, really smooth. My only slight criticism is that the pedals are not as wide as they could (should) be so if using with a stick between your legs there will be a level of restriction. Rudder pedals
Once you got the basics of flight down, this is the next step, no pun intended. Once you have mastered the basics of flying straight, level, on course, maybe in formation, recommend Il2 series. You need to lose the joystick/yoke/ rudder combo and really have some fun and make the rudder peddles part of your body, part of your controls. When you fly for real, the peddles will baffle you. These peddles seem to be made of decent stuff and when you upside down for real at 3,000 you need to have your mind on dials and yoke/rudder/throttle just an extension of your self, can’t beat the heart stopping stall drop turn ha! Better than a twist stick
I have never used rudder pedals before getting these so i cannot compare it to others on the market, but in comparison to a twist stick is is a massive improvement. Setup
I bought this specifically to play the latest Il2 flight sim. Downloaded the drivers as per instructions but didn't download the additional setup software as I had reviews that it was temperamental in operation. Varied pedals were operating via Windows. On trying to use the rudder pedals in game they weren't being recognised by the game. Toe brake was okay and worked well. Several attempts and a few beers later, still not recognised. I decided to download the additional programmes from thrustmaster, ran them both, rebooted il2, kicked the left pedal first and it worked. Rudder recognised along with the toe brakes. Had a pair of Saitek before and managed to break those almost within a week of getting them, these feel strong. They are narrower but nothing that concerns me.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Perfect low cost easy to use pedals. They are cheap but not tacky - senstive and give a high level of control once cllibrated.
I just needed small footprint easy to use pedals. These are smooth accurate and very neat. Fits in the awkward space under my desk. My old ones were rattling annd broke too easily. These are a bit plasticky but for the price, unbeatable. Partners perfectly with my Thrustmaset T.1600 stick and Throttle. Installed seamlessly as the driver is the same for all devices.
