Versatile sturdy solid good table working surface size
Based on reviews of routers and router tables I finally got a Craftsman 14A Digital Router Combo with the Bosch RA1181 Benchtop Router table to replace a Tradesman 1.5A Shaper Router table combo because of motor failure. I was shopping around for a replacement motor, but could not find exactly the right one and price to justify the replacement. Started looking at new Router Table with router combo about 6 months ago and finally got the above custom combo because of reviews, ratings and pricing on the Internet. Took me about a half a day to properly assemble and attach router to table. I was very happy with the results and ease of use of this new setup. First off my Bosch under cabinet adapter does not bolt up and cant find the one that will, so I had to machine my own holes. The first time I run my drawer fronts to round the edges it left extremely deep scratches in the wood, so deep I had to plane down. I then sanded the Bosch top down and sprayed table top lube and sealer. It then did a awesome job. Good value? for what it cost, it should have been ready to use and you would think Bosch table and router would mate up, any other brand I have had in the past did.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Excellent value
Most reviews of this router table said it was not the best available but a great value for the cost. The only tables rated higher cost at least twice the cost of this one. I have been using it for a few weeks now and find it fully adequate for my needs. My only complaint is the difficulty of mounting the plate in the top of the table. A little broken upon receipt.
As coming out of the package, one of MFD the fences was chipped. Also, the removable cover that shrouds around the bit dips down a little bit, giving any routing a little bump. Very irritating.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
