    Good value

Surprised and a bit disappointed to see the stone effect is only on one side, the reverse is just a plain recessed panel where they came out of the mould. However, once in place they do smarten up the edge of the lawn, I just turned the plain side away from view. With delivery include I suppose they represent good value for the purpose they perform - smartening up the garden. The fact that they all lock together to make one continuous length is a useful feature. All in all, I have no complaints with my purchase.

    A few pros and cons

Looks better in the photos than it actually is, but there again looks ok from a distance. The rear of the edgings are not finished like the front so are ugly to look at. If you have soft sandy soil I should imagine they would install easily, but with my heavy clay soil they do not push in at all, which is not helped by the fact that they have blunt bases rather than a point. I found the best way to install them was to form a slot first with a hand fork, and then gently push them in by hand. Chance are they will break if you try and hammer them in due to the flimsy nature of the plastic. They can only be connected in one direction, so you have to start on the left and work to the right. Having said all that, they do actually do a decent job in separating the lawn from overflowing borders and keep the area tidy. If you want a budget method of forming an edging and are careful enough to install them correctly, they will do a reasonable job.

  • Flimsy but at least it won't rot

These are really quite flimsy. I bought to replace rotten log edging along a raised soil area which contains cotswold stone chippings with pots on top. They are not really very sturdy and several cracked when attempting to slot them in. My ground is very clay-heavy and full of stones. I used a flat, metal weeding tool to create the spike holes in the end. 'Just hammer in' wasn't an option, as the plastic just split. Unless you have very soft soil or with no stones in, you might struggle with these. Overall, I'm happy with how it looks and the fact it won't rot like the wood did. Plus you can trim them with a strong pair of scissors to fit.

  • Lightweight edging.

It does work, but it is lightweight plastic so you need soft soil if you want to get it into the ground. The grey colour is more like light blue which is a bit odd in a garden, wish I’d gone for the brick colour. I would recommend it despite these negative comments

  • Loos good

I am happy with the plastic lawn edging, but i have had to knock of a star because the plastic tips that you bang into the ground are very flimsy i broke 3 trying to get them into the ground and i used a rubber mallet and my ground is not that hard . So in the end i had to make a hole with a metal spike first. But once in they do look nice, but i would not buy them again.

  • Lawn Edging

The product is very difficult to use unless you want the edging to be in a straight line and is not too solid, if there is a curve in the border then it is difficult to manoeuvre into place. If you need something that once in place, will not need to moved then it is a good addition to the garden.

  • Decent product.

If you are looking for a cheap solution the this is it. Cheap, cheerful and easy to mount on the ground. The material could be a bit thicker but it is not bad.

  • Easy to install and good value.

It is plastic edging with cobbled effect finish. As long as you accept that and don't expect it to be identical to stone it's fine. It's very easy to install and easy on the wallet.

  • I really should have listened.......

Despite reviews saying how flimsy and cheap-looking these are, I knew better, didn't I? I would make holes *before* putting them in, so they wouldn't break. They broke. I would put lovely stone chippings around them, so they wouldn't look so cheap. They looked cheap. I would put them back to front so that they looked better from the road. They looked horrendous. In the end we ripped them all out again. I really, REALLY should have listened.
