Best option if you do not have roof rails!
Our 2018 CRV did not have roof rails or crossbars. I did a lot of research and settled on this as an option. The Honda dealer quoted me $300 to just do the roof rails without labor. The Thule naked roof system for the CRV was roughly $600. I was able to find this roof system for $180. It was super simple to install and has already made 3 trips with our kayaks. I would give it 5 stars, but I do want to see how it is going to hold up over time. A Cheap, Inexpensive Roof Rack
This product is not of OEM quality. There are no instructions included in the packaging, the rubber weather guards are lumpy in a few areas and do not always overlap with the metal areas of the car body, and some of the bolt holes and screws are prone to stripping and come loose. If you need a cheap roof-rack, this will suffice, but beware that you will be getting hurried quality. Needs some improvement.
This fits well and looks good on our 2020 CR-V. The price is right. Just a few to many takeaways, no instructions, plastic covers are hard breakable plastic, the rubber moldings are wrinkled and nonconforming. I added rivnuts and moved the front cross bar forward 5 inches, so it’s just behind the moonroof. Now the crossbars aren’t so close together.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
