Effective weed killer for lawns
Like most garden chemicals, this product is expensive, but as a concentrate goes a long way and is worth the cost. I used a spreader bar bought on eBay to fit on a two gallon watering can. I also made up a strong solution to use in a spray bottle to treat weeds individually later that missed the initial watering can treatment. You see an effect after about a week to ten days. The weeds turn pink / red and eventually go black and dessicated and then slowly vanish. The following season there was a major reduction in weeds in the lawn requiring just spot treatment with the spray.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not as effective as I would have liked.
I have used Verdone over many years with good results, but have found that weeds must be getting more immune to its efficacy. Weedol/Verdone certainly appears to start the process of killing dandelions, but half way through the process the plant appears to recover and bloom again! the instructions call for a once-a-year use, but this is definitely not going to remove the dandelions in my lawn! I shall try a second dose at a stronger concentration and see what happens. It's expensive, particularly if not fully effective.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Thistle killer
Freshly laid turf in new garden around new home. Sadly plot was infested with thistles and they are prolific. So far have sprayed the grassed area four times. Gradually winning the battle but it could take years. Grass thriving but thistles keep on coming. Do you have as stronger version for use on grass. Great concept.
