About the collar
When I got the collar I did not think it was working on low settings 1 thru 7. I contacted the company about it. They were very nice and asked me to contact Garmin about the problem and gave me the number to call. Also the company said if Garmin could not correct the problem they would be fine with sending it back. Called Garmin and they were very helpful. I was touching the prongs with my fingers on low settings and could not fell a shock but put it on 10 and it would jar my teeth!! They told me to put on back of wrist and I could feel the shock. Said some people have thick skin on fingers (working man hands) was reason I couldn’t feel it. Also said you could take Christmas lights like on a Christmas tree and touch each wire to each prong. This works really well, definitely worth getting a decent one and not a cheap chinese knock off. It's got separate buttons for all the options which is nice. Multiple levels of shock, multiple modes including beep, vibration, and shock. Very well built and is rechargeable which is a huge plus. Unit is made well. I love the rechargeable feature on both the collar and controller. The collar is completely sealed to keep water out. The range seems accurate. Only a few complaints.
