Really a 4 1/2 Star
I had watched a video on assembly before it arrived so putting it together was fairly simple. It rolls really well ... and fast! Turning radius is okay & better than other scooters. Ya' gotta be careful though. I took it outside on the driveway, which seems pretty flat. I have a non-weight bearing cast from my right foot up to my knee. Had big time surgery on my right foot. Well, I hit a place on the driveway that had a very slight pitch (didn't even know the pitch was there) and the scooter tipped over sending me to the cement. I desperately tried to make sure no weight came down on the foot, but I got banged up a bit. Fortunately, no broken bones (thank you Lord!). The rear wheels are much closer together than in the front, which makes it less sturdy and more prone to tip. All I can say is BE CAREFUL!! The good news is that it beats the heck out of crutches and makes it easier to get around. I have another 6+ weeks with a non-weight bearing situation. Sturdy equipment
Price for this item was excellent. It is sturdy and cheaper than purchasing from a local medical supply store. The turn radius is not great, but probably better than some other knee walkers. Also the hand brake has to be squeezed really tight in order to be able to push down the button to lock it in place. I have arthritis in my hands, so squeezing the handle tight enough to push the lock button down is difficult. The product also arrived with a small area of paint chipped off exposing the bare metal beneath. All in all, I would still recommend this walker. Very Sturdy and glides easily.
Never had to use one of these before. Got it for my wife who had foot surgery. Very sturdy and glides easily. She really likes it and will be using it for quite a while. It is made out of steel so it isn't a lightweight, but it will hold up to the largest person for sure. The only thing I didn't like on it was where the handle fits into the body (where you adjust the height.) It is wobbly even when tightened down as much as possible. Well Engineered, Great Value, Easy Assembly
Packaged securely in robust box. Assembled in 5 minutes, no tools required. Assembly is intuitive, this old toolmaker did not need the instruction sheet. ( I added a couple of zip ties to further retain brake cable to steering column so it will not snag on things) Steerable wheels with tie rods are much safer than turning the whole front axle as done on other models. Full circumference drum brake is very positive, a real plus instead of wheel tread brakes. I plan to add soft rubber cups over the front wheel retaining nuts to avoid damaging things I may bump into.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Sturdy and effective
Needed to be completely off my left ankle for five weeks. Used my KneeWalker only in the house, but used it faithfully there. Quickly figured out how to do Y turns or discovered circular paths around rooms or through the house and back, so I did not have to back up or reverse course. I felt very comfortable and perceived the KW as very study, yet functional. ABSOLUTELY get the basket, because it will allow you to carry your reading materials, glasses, cell phone, etc. around the house while dedicating your hands to safe steering. KneeRover FTW! Great Scooter with Parking Brake
Very sturdy yet light weight. Has excellent reviews for not tipping over. Came with basket. Chose this model because it has a parking brake. Oddly, many scooters can't be b braked for when you want to stay in place, say reaching into the fridge. Got a separate knee cushion topper so mine doesn't fold quite as flat as it would without the cushion.
