Reasonably ok
This device is relatively easy to use. You have to reboot your computer after installation. Only recpords in mpeg2 format. Many packages would record in mpeg4 and AVI in addition. The image quiality is tolerable but goo be beetter. Therte is a little jitter visisible oline to line in the image. The video input sockets include an s-video din socxket but there is no s-video connector lead only a 3-way phono lead. EXCELLENT HARDWARE, POOR VIDEO CAPTURE SOFTWARE
Works a treat for capturing analogue videos from camcorder to laptop at original quality (resolution). Let down by very poor capturing software - kept crashing & wouldn't show imagery in preview pane! Used Video Studio which recognised the capture stick without issue. Simple and Convenient
The adapter arrived when expected and was well packaged. It included a small diameter cd for installation of the adapter and the video capture / edit software. I've not done much so far but have managed to transfer an analogue video camera file to the pc and also remove an unwanted chunk from the middle. As you go through the process, there are options to save your digital files in various formats. Finding my way around the video capture / edit programme took a while but was not a problem. Fabulous bit of kit
I bought this to transfer my old VHS videos of the kids from 25+ years ago onto digital windows media files before the tapes finally deteriorate. Don’t work on windows 10
This does not work on windows 10 even downloaded new drivers from August web site , I was getting sound but no picture, I then downloaded a free video capture software, called nah software it work with that but this is not plug and play and it has taken me hours to sort out hope this helpsVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Problems on windows 10
