This is a practical and attractive coir doormat. A lot like a mini version of the tiger skin rugs that were so popular in the front parlours of some wealthy Victorian homes. Most people who come to my house make very favourable comments about it. It certainly gets noticed. It seems a shame to actually wipe your feet on it, but that is what it is for and it does the job very well. If I had to pick out any possible drawbacks about this mat, it would be that it could have been even better if it had been about six inches longer and six inches wider. That would have been ideal for the hallway that I am using it in. However, it may not then have fit into as many homes as it does in its current size.
