Good toothbrush!
Good simple electric toothbrush. Look for pressure sensor light, Li-Ion battery (identified on bottom), higher powered motor, Type 3766 (printed on bottom) to be sure you are getting the PRO 1500 model. Model number is not printed anywhere on actual product.

OralB always excellent quality - but...
The speed is excellent - that's why I bought it - and I know OralB is good quality. But. The button is a bit of a challange - I have to press really hard to start or stop the brushing - and it came with no brush (not that is fundamental, but it would have been nice to have it). However, being OralB I can deal with no brush and hard button, because I know the quality is excellent. Outstanding Oral B Electric Toothbrush
I have owned Oral B electric toothbrushes now for 12 years. My old handle finally bit the dust after 12 years. This new Smart 1500 model has 3 speeds, and is very very powerful, compared to my last Oral B model. Hands down this is a great buy and it's very good for oral hygene, too! Oral-B 1500 Pro Toothbrush - Great Product
My teeth have never felt this clean between dental appointments. The 1500 does a great job of removing plaque along the gum line. The pressure sense light can be seen very easily, even if you close your eyes while brushing your teeth. It took me a little while to get the hang of using it (placing it at the correct angle against the gum line). Nice toothbrush.
This is a major upgrade over the Oral-B Vitality. It runs at a much faster speed. I was doubtful about the usefulness of the 30 second intervals, but found that it makes sure that I brush each section of my teeth for an equal length of time. One feature that I didn't find useful is the pressure sensor. You've got to press the toothbrush very hard against the teeth in order to get a warning that you're pressing too hard. Will Never Purchase a Different Brand Again
The cross-action brush is excellent in cleaning, which came with the product. Power is excellent and continual and has not yet needed a charge. Weight of the product is perfect (not too light and not to heavy) and comfortable. Time will tell it is if durable.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Everyone should have one of these!
I read somewhere that the 1500 is faster than the 1000. I don't know if that's the case but I'm quite happy with this one. It's simple, no bluetooth connectivity, no tracking app, no BS. Just an electric tooth brush that is strong, durable, water proof and does the job better than an ordinary tooth brush. It has 2 speed settings but I prefer to always use the fast one. And a pressure sensor that lights up when you press to hard. Don't worry about the brush head as all Oral-B Brush products are interchangeable. For example you can buy brush that comes with the Oral-B 5000 model, and use it with this one, and so on. Everyone SHOULD HAVE one of these. Period.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Cleans well
I replaced an older Oral B rechargeable toothbrush. I like this one much better. It does a great job removing plaque. I like the 30 sec timer. It does take a bit getting used to. It stutters as it reminds you to brush in a different area. Some descriptions indicate a sensitive mouth speed but mine just has the one setting. Good electric toothbrush at a great price.
This rotary style brush took a little getting used to as I have been using a Phillips oscillating brush. I believe the Oral B rotary brush cleans my teeth better and stimulates my gums better than the oscillating type. My dental hygienist uses a rotary brush after each cleaning and my dentist recommended a Rota Dent brush which is also a rotary style but 5 times the cost of the Oral B. Bottom line is I believe this brush provides superior care at a very affordable price in a well crafted durable unit. Braun smart 1500 toothbrush - good toothbrush, reasonably priced
I purchased this Braun smart 1500 rechargeable toothbrush as a replacement for an older Braun toothbrush, probably 10 years old, which recently died on me. It has several modes (different oscillation speeds), which my old one did not have. I just use the high speed, and brush for 2 minutes. I'm satisfied with the results of this product so far (only been using it for about a week now). Since they use the latest lithium battery technology, I'm expecting that the run time on a single charge will be much better than any experience that I've had thus far. And, the fact that it was available as an open-box item made it considerably less expensive ($39.00, I think it was) than it would have otherwise have been. Between toothbrushes and electric shavers, I have owned Braun products for probably about 30 years. They have good products.
