Works Great But Be Ready To Work
Finally got this installed and working. Water tastes great. It seems to be good quality, but it was not easy to install. The price is great, especially compared to other systems available. Most other systems are much more expensive and have exorbitantly priced filters. But be ready to do some work to get this installed. 1- The instructions are in English (Engrish?) but make no sense at all. Be ready to install from the picture alone. I have installed many sinks, faucets, toilets, supply plumbing, etc, and it was still a lot of work. I had to remove my sink and re-engineer the water flow. 2- The faucet is great quality ( heavy stainless with a matte finish) but there was no fitting to connect it to the water line. The instructions vaguely refer to a fitting, but it is not on the parts list. I used a 1/4" coupler and it leaked like crazy. I went to Home Depot and was ready to replace the faucet but theirs was cheap chrome over plastic. I showed the faucet the the plumbing guy and he said there is a fitting missing. I ended up using teflon tape and the 1/4' coupler, but it took 3 tries to get it to stop leaking. Maybe mine was just missing a piece from the manufacturer. 3- Be prepared to spend some money on fittings. An inline plastic tee is provided to go between the valve and faucet supply. I opted to replace the shutoff valve with a tee valve with 3/8" and 1/4" fittings (~$15). I also wanted a shutoff for just the filter system (~$11) so I can shut off the supply to the filter without shutting off the sink faucet. I also wanted to use the filtered water for my icemaker, so I added a tee to the supply line for the drinking water faucet (~$7). All things considered, I would buy this again. But it took some work and a lot of swearing. Oh, and it is big. Takes up a good portion of the area under the sink.

Great osmosis unit. I liked it so much I bought another one. Seems to works exactly like the more expensive ones I've purchased in the past. I could only test the PPM. Tap water around 400.
