The system is very compact. Assembly only takes a few minutes. Multi functional, but I have not tried all like bluetooth yet. Good remote. A negative for me is I would prefer more treble control and even when bass control is at minimum it is more than I like when not listening to music. It has a bass boost which I use rarely.

Happy with the SONY CMT-SBT100 home stereo.
This Sony unit is compact, suitable for an office or a small room. The sound quality is good. Acceptable, especially for the price of $135. This won't blow you away with concert hall sound, but I was not expecting that for the price. It was easy to set up. overall, I am very satisfied with it and would buy another one if I ever need another.

Great sounding little self stereo. Digital tuner with very good sensitivity. The record changer works well not as good as my old Dual Turntable of the seventies. The remotes is very nice and easy to use

Pretty good.
Mine came with a pretty huge crack on the side. Didn’t affect the sound so I’m not gonna make a big deal out of it. It sounds ok. Not super loud but very clear, which is important to me. I wish it was louder. I’m running a turntable through a preamp into the aux in. The sound is decent. Still haven’t been able to figure out the flash drive usb in feature. CD sounds good the Bluetooth is spotty but decent. The antenna works good all the local radio stations play mostly clear.

Unit is very simple to use and hook up an auxiliary device. The sound is better than expected. My only ding would be the bass response is there but sounds muffled. I'm still trying to find the best settings. I'm more than pleased with the value and quality of the unit. Also was shipped quickly and packed well.

Great Small System. Easy Set-Up
This system is small but mighty. Works well as a replacement for a multi component system that took up an entire cabinet. Sound is clear and fills my living room without maxing out the volume. The “bass boost” feature really gives it some punch. Set up was easy, connections are intuitive. The remote took a bit to figure out. Downloaded the owners manual (free) from Sony’s website so I could decipher setting the pre-sets and BlueTooth set up but those were the only things that could not be figured out by reading dials or buttons. Sound is nice & clear in all formats. There is a brief lag when you switch from, say, CD to FM or to BT and CDs take a minute to scan before playing but most CD players do that. I was surprised that the connection to a phone is via BT. Had assumed it would be through the charging cable plugged into the USB port, like in my car but it’s not. However you can charge the phone thru the USB port while playing so you don’t have to worry about BT depleting the battery. Speakers are a great size. Big enough for good volume without tinniness but not so obnoxiously large that they scream “Speaker!” wherever you place them. Note: the speaker wire is relatively short, maybe 2-2 1/2 ft. and the plug-in is a proprietary connector, not wires wound around the connecting poles. Am very pleased with the performance & size of this system.

Seems like a quality unit. The 2 way speakers leave a little to be desired but it has pretty good sound. I liked it well enough to purchase a second one for my shop at home.

There is nothing bad about this unit-very good sound quality on AM&FM bands-stereo separation is good,bass has that boom that most people want--i listen in low to medium volume or just less than medium volume . CD plays my learning cds with clarity. Tom
