Stainless steel and non-stick hybrid
This pan is a blend of a stainless steel and a non-stick pan. Be sure to season the pan properly and one must use some oil to prevent sticking. The exposed stainless steel will get stained from the resin from the cooking oils both inside and outside. I would recommend it if the buyer understands that it is not like a non-stick pan. But it is much more durable because of the steel web pattern which protects the areas that are non-stick. There are special care instructions that most pans do not have. Good pan for nonstick and durability!

A super high quality frying pan
We've only used this pan for a month so it's hard to make any statements about long term durability, but just using the pan gives you the feeling you'll be using it for a very long time. I am careful to follow the manufacturer's instructions and don't use the pan on high heat. This is key to the pan's non-stick qualities. I have gotten fried eggs to swirl around like in the ads, but a little butter or oil is needed, and eggs will stick if the heat is too high. Cooking other foods, there is never any sticking. Cleanup is so easy. Just wipe with a dishrag or paper towel. I am delighted. It's the best pan I ever owned. I'd definitely buy it again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very well packed

Conducts heat very well. Great for searing steaks. Easy clean up. The advertisement shows scramble eggs can just fly off with a oil spray and a light puff of air. Don’t believe it. Eggs still stick. This is my second Hexclad frying pan the same except the for the lid. No matter what I cook in it it comes out clean every time. I had wanted a larger pan but can’t afford the price. Since my husband started cooking, he burns everything, the latest mess was a grilled cheese. I just soak in hot water and it comes clean. He also washed it in the dishwasher still okay. I have cooked tomato soup, eggs, scallops, other fish, burgers the list goes on. By the way I have had the pan about twenty years a little scorched but still cooking.
