not crazy over this heater
It seems these smaller kerosene heaters (10,000 btu and below) are not designed well as the larger ones. It's difficult to replace the wick on this unit and has a strong odor while burning. We tried the rectangular model (9600 btu) as well and have similar complaints, but our old faithful 23,000 btu unit (at least 10 years old) is still kicking out (sometimes more than enough) heat with very little odor after a few (fairly easy) wick replacements.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Kerosene for heat has gone back for almost 200 years! It is the easiest and first refined crude oil refined fuel! Have a match on standby!

Dissatisfied.
