Fantastic Unit
Great for integrating with any rig, can use for amp switching as well. I also have an HX Stomp but the Stomp cannot be used for amp switching and only has 3 snapshots per preset, the HX Effects has 4 snapshots, two outputs for controlling external devices or for expression pedals, two separate send/returns and 9 effects blocks per preset. Supports third-party impulse responses.

Review of line 6 helix HX
Lovely unit, very easy to program. I only use the modulation effects in the amps loop but providing you set the levels right it sounds great.... lots of effects to choose from... I only use it in stomp mode as it suits me like that.... yes the effects are sims but would 99% of people know the difference? Not sure....
