Plenty of power and light weight

If used for branches less then 6 inches around a common residence, this saves time and effort. The battery gives me a full 4 hours of cutting palm trees, Palmeto, pruning pear, apple and peach. Very light weight and well balanced. I only give it 4 stars because I wish it had addition extensions to give me longer reach. I have two of these and keep on separate properties. I've used for about two years, twice a week. No failures or issues.

    DIDN'T CUT WORTH A DARN

It all went together easily. As stated by other users, it is heavy and awkward when put to its full 10' length. However, this thing couldn't cut through butter! I'm hoping that it is just because the chain needs sharpened. It was hardly used when I purchased it off of eBay, but it looked like there had never been any bar oil ever put in it, which would have dulled the chain on the first use. I am going to spend the money having the chain sharpened, and hope this is the issue. It will still be heavy and awkward to use, but if it actually will cut through a branch or two, I will be okay with it.

  • Too heavy compaired to a gas driven unit with the same pole length. Would no reccomend it for an older person to use.

The pole saw is well built but is too heavey to use when fully extended the power head is too heavy to hold up when trying to cut a limb high over head. Also the unit is too heavy when the 6 amp hr battery is used.

  • Great power, easy to use.

I use it for pruning palm and lemon trees. Great power, easy to use. Oil basin leaks a bit, so minus one star for that.

  • Works great. The extra power from the higher voltage is helpful. Along with the extra 2 inches of bar length. Very handy for taking down dead branches

  • Great deal for the money was slightly used but still works like new.

Works great just a bit heavy but thats what you want is heavy duty so it doesn’t break. I’ve cut down about 10 large limbs off various hardwords. Wouldn’t even had to charged the battery but I did any way, just to keep it ready for next use.

  • Just what I ordered Thanks

Easy to use but heavy weight of saw portion of makes saw balance precarious when fully extended the full 10 feet. However the easy use of the device over weighs the drawbacks.

  • Pretty solid

Works as intended. As others have stated, it's a bit top-heavy, but you'd exert more energy using a manual saw, and using a ladder would be much more dangerous. The weight is also beneficial once you get the saw up there as you can just let that weight work to make the cut instead of applying constant pressure. One other review also mentions that the handle part was assembled backwards(180°). Keep in mind that the attachable handle on the base can be loosened and rotated freely, then re-tightened. My guess is that they maybe didn't realize that. My one gripe is that the pole sections don't come apart easily. Maybe they'll loosen up over time, but it took a lot more effect to disconnect the poles than it did to hold the whole thing up. Overall a good saw though and way easier than using a manual saw.

  • Gets the work done.

Powers thru hardwood with ease. Well-balanced with the battery at the handle. The 9.5' reach puts most problem branches in reach. I was surprised at the work I could get done on a single battery. The only weakness is the oiling system

  • Very satisfied.

Great battery powered chain saw that can reach limbs 15 feet high.
