Brilliant bit of kit
The discs last so much longer than any other type i have tried as they are held securely and have a metal centre. The quick change system is brilliant, just pull, twist and release. Faulty but still worth buying the proper Dremel stuff.
These are supposed to be better quality discs over other brands however, could only use 1 of the 2 discs supplied as the centre fell out of one disc straight away and would not fit the mandrel. Used the other disc but it wore out quickly then would not release from the mandrel. You get what you pay for I suppose so would throw the lot away and buy a new set as it is cheap enough.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A good idea this is and wondered why it has not been thought of before. Easy fitting of discs in seconds when you get used to it and a very handy set to have when a situation arises. Make a great birthday or xmas present for somebody who's into DIY as well. Always bought dremel products and always got me out of trouble time after time even recently with my car. I had a seized alternator tensioner pulley bearing recently on my car and i removed it the only way with the dremel. All is fixed now and the dremel get's me out of trouble yet again. 10/10. Not as good as I expected.
Mine was way unbalanced, blade was fitted properly but I got lots of vibrations that were present at most speed settings, this is a bearing killer for the Dremel. It goes to show that with Dremel some products are good while others not so much. Speedclic not upto the Job
I thought this would be a clever invention and make swapping heads easier which it does. The issue is while using the discs the spring mount can release and shear off the mount and run down the shaft. this was a big issue with the cutting discs and I wrote off two perfectly good discs within minutes. What a time saver
I had had a Dremel for a while now and saw these things but always thought they were expensive for what they are.How wrong was I... In the space of 7 days I have used the Dremel more than the last 6 months. Why? Because it is so easy to fit a cutting disc and then swap to a buffing wheel.
