Mains Flymo connector plug
This connector plug does the job ok but I bought it as a replacement for the one on my Flymo view compact 380 which has a cable drum fitted on the top and a grove for the connector plug to fit into. Unfortunately this connector plug is bigger than the original therefore will not fit in the grove. Works well but requires skill for success
If you are confident wiring a 13 A plug you should assemble this successfully. However be aware that the insulation between live and neutral is a thin piece of plastic that needs careful alignment. An error positioning the plastic or insecure connection of the wires will easily lead to a short circuit. Make sure you test for no continuity between the live and neutral wires at the plug end and at the socket end. Replacement plug

Good if you get the wiring right
was a well made product but tricky to assemble. I had a struggle getting it together and wired. I inadvertently reversed the wiring causing a outage at the circuit breaker. It does the job, but my Flymo stores the cable in the lid. This connector isn't the same shape as original so it won't fit into the cutout in the lid. Had to file out a bit of lid to get it to fit.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Bosch Rotak compatible
Although it wasn't listed this plug is directly compatible with a Bosch Rotak, as well as Flymos. I was expecting the plug to separate into 2 halves once the screw was removed, and it took a little while to figure that the centre plug part slides out of the end of the outer tube, Once figured it was a simple job to fit, remembering to slide the outer tube onto the cable first, then the grommet section, before finally wiring the plug on the end of the cable. At a fraction of the cost of a new lead and far better than the chock block i had in the cable after running over it, very please with this purchase.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
