Good but one CD too many.
I like Rod and that helps. Where a song is basically a good song anyway, the addition of a full orchestra is a bonus. I liked the modern, polished, treatment however as is often the case, more is not necessarily better. One CD of the very best would have been a far better idea than two CDs including lesser (imho) stuff. My wife's thought that she always preferred that rough edge to his voice of old to the smoother modern one is a valid point.

Big hit

Worth buying even if you already have them...
I already have most of these on other CD's but if you like the old hits its still worth buying. Some are a bit melancholy but they probably always were and the RPO just enhance the production.
