Very light weight, just right for children to handle. As its a present, I have not opened the box to be able to comment on any features.
It gets a child to think, what piece goes where. It also teaches them to coordinate, using finger's and hands. I am sure it will be entertaining to a child, who loves these sort of things. Its a good brain exerciser, to be able to place all the parts together, correctly.
